Mondays really suck!

I'm definitely in MNF dt's. The wife is mad at me the Fox "Terra Nova" sucks. Jack Daniels is my only comfort. (Which might explain why the wife's mad at me but I'm not sure because she won't talk to me.) Now,let's deal with Cain,Romney,Perry and whoever might arise from the mire. Let me cut to the chase. Your next King has been chosen and it is Barack Obama. Back in 2008 I was barraged by calls for Obama. I asked one question. "What qualifies Obama to be President?" I never got an answer to that question. One poor bastard...

Broadcast Sports Declares Robust Debate Out Of Bounds
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
It seems that the only stereotypical male behavior broadcast sports won't put up with is free thought and the speaking of one's mind. For example, Hank Williams Jr. --- a number of whose own songs revel proudly in bawdy behavior such as boozing and smoking --- has been removed from the opening sequence of Monday Night Football for comparing Obama to Hitler. This reprisal will certainly go a long way in laying to rest the old canard about Jews controlling the media. In a number of ways, Obama is like Hitler. Both men would have liked to have seen the...

ESPN pulls Hank Williams Jr. after he compares Obama to Hitler
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
Hank Williams Jr., the singer whose various videos for the hit song "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Monday Night" has served as the intro to "Monday Night Football" for 23 seasons, compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler during a Monday morning appearance on "Fox and Friends." The statement led to ESPN pulling his popular intro segment, best known to fans for its "Are you ready for some football?" ending, for Monday night's game between the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During a discussion on the 2012 presidential race, Williams began discussing Obama's golf outing with Speaker...

ESPN yanks Hank for comparing Obama to Hitler
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
Hank Williams, Jr., the voice famous for asking millions of football fans whether theyre ready for some football, has been pulled from tonights broadcast of Monday Night Football over a comment he made on Fox News this morning. Williams, who sings the lead-in song to the game each week, criticized the president for his golf summit with House Speaker John Boehner this summer. It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu, Williams told Fox & Friends. USA Today, among others, picked up the quote, speculating on whether the comparison would get Williams booted from the broadcast...

AP Bias on Full Display: Reporter Omits Democrat Link to Scandal, Highlights GOP Affiliation

On Monday (June 14), Associated Press reporter Colleen Long wrote two articles about two different criminal cases in New York State, both involving political operatives accused of breaking the law. The first was about "Hank Morris... adviser to former state comptroller Alan Hevesi, [who] has been accused of taking kickbacks and other payments...." The second was about John Haggerty, who is accused of duping New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg into giving him money for campaign expenses and then using the money for personal expenses instead. The story about Morris never mentioned that he was a Democrat political consultant, or...

Logical Conclusions
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
According to Representative Hank Johnson, the logical conclusion of yelling you lie! at the President during a joint session of congress is a return of the Klu Klux Klan. I have given up trying to understand Liberal logic (if there in fact IS such a thing) therefore in an attempt to end the partisan bickering , I have my own logical conclusion scenario to purpose... Radical and Socialist Influences: Saul Alinsky Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour Bill Ayers Carl Davidson Frank Marshall Davis Bernardine Dohrn John L. McKnight Democratic Socialists...

Adios Hank: The Conservative World of King of the Hill (series finale tonight)
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
Tonight Fox will run the series finale of King of the Hill, the saga of Hank Hill and his gang of associates living in their exurb paradise of Arlen, Texas.... The beauty of King is that while it pokes fun at Hanks myriad foibles, it understands the creepy nature of those who dedicate their lives to interfering in the lives of others, always claiming the moral high ground yet inevitably maximizing their own personal power and advantage. From snooty school guidance counselors to pompous college professors to lazy municipal clerks, Hank is constantly beset by nimrods trying to force him...

Palin brings Hank Williams, Jr., to Richmond
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
Saw Palin in Richmond today (Mon 13 October 2008). Introductory speeches by Jerry Kilgore, Robb Whittman, Jim Gilmore. Other than Palin herself, the highlight was Hank Williams, Jr., singing the National Anthem and then doing a multi-verse rendition of his "Family Tradition" with new campaign lyrics extoling the virtues of John McCain and Sarah Palin. Believe H.W. Jr. was also in Virginia Beach with McCain and Palin in the morning. Big crowd in Richmond VA, out in the grass in a makeshift outdoor theater on the grounds of Richmond International Raceway. Hope video makes it online. Mike B.

Hank resumes his reign on Foxs King of the Hill
Posted by admin / Under Hank Williams The Roy Orbison Way
Ill have a normal orange juice, please, says Hank Hill. And make it normal. He wishes! Hank, plaintive hero of Foxs comedy King of the Hill, is joining someone at a dang ol prissy juice bar. Not by his choice. This is not Hanks kind of place. Nor are these his kind of times. Never were. After a decade on the air, King of the Hill finds Hank pretty much where he was in January 1997: a Texas good ol boy in a world bent on serving up things that, in his mind, just arent normal. Hanks a regular guy...
